Kiwi Dreamgirls Cast in Bollywood

Six Kiwi-Indian girls have been given the chance to perform with the leading lights of Bollywood including Aditi Bhagwat and Shiva Rindhani.

…Sharmista Chakraborty and five other girls from Auckland have joined the cast of India’s film musical “Dreamgirls of Bollywood”.

…Dreamgirls tells the story of Sajili, a young girl living in a small town, training as an Indian classical dancer, Sajili has been selected by her Indian dance teacher to carry on his life’s work to all four corners of the entire country.

Dreamgirls is playing at the Skycity Theatre Auckland from April 15th…Kiwibloke reports.
