Congratulations Tom McSweeney for the launching of Tom McSweeney Productions at Warner Studios on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Eloquently catered, the star studded guests were treated to a teaser performance by the cast of Isn’t It Romantic; The songs of Rogers & Hart, Directed by McSweeney.
To help celebrate, Home And Away’s Lincoln Lewis, gave a great introductory speech, while Tafta’s John Orcsik honoured the man of the night with wonderful words of acknowledgement!
Alan Nusbaum, founder and CEO of TVI Actors studio, the largest film training centre in America, flew in especially for the occasion arriving with a huge box of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups for his long time friend.
Lee Donahue from Quiet On Set, former Neighbours Star Natalie Blair and the cast of Sea Patrol were also sharing in the celebration of McSweeney’s inaugural gala.
…”There will be a film and television school for actors, then the casting side and now we will also have a theatrical production arm which will be sending stage productions around Australia,” said McSweeney.
“McSweeney said his new venture would give Queensland actors a chance to break into the industry.” … We will have three audition technique courses, and he said he opened the school because he was tired of Queensland actors missing out on cream acting roles, he told the Gold Coast Bulletin.
