Meet the Australian actress who has just completed work on three feature films in the last year!
Georgii Speakman is the epitome of what one would consider an actor-preneur (Theatrical performer who operates and assumes the risk of a business venture a.k.a an acting career).
Not just stunning to look at, the talented triple-threat; (singer, dancer, actor) is also a writer and producer and it seems there is not an aspect of creative expression this business savvy artist is not well versed in.
One of her latest films, Offside, is now in the running for the SA (South Australian) Film Award at the Adelaide Film Festival, starring alongside fellow Aussie actor Terry Rogers, who recently completed a small role opposite Clive Owen in Scott Hicks latest film, The Boys Are Back In Town.
Speakman also took lead roles in the feature films Carmilla Hyde as (Britt) and Roadman as (Lorraine) opposite the talented, Travis McMahon.
In 2005 The esteemed actress won “People’s Choice Award” for theatre show “Being Frank” in Sydney’s ‘Short & Sweet Theatre Competition’ and played the role of ‘Philipa’, in the Australian feature film Cross Life, which screened at the ‘Sydney Film Festival‘,’Pusan International Film Festival’ and won an “Independent Spirit Award” at the Inside Film Awards in 2007.
