The Australian feature film Acolytes Starring Joel Edgerton and cast by one of Australia’s leading Casting Directors, Faith Martin, has struck a chord with audiences internationally thanks to Director Jon Hewitt, “now ranked one of Australia’s great horror film directors”.
Acolytes screened at an array of International film festivals including the famous Toronto film festival.
When they discover the body of a murdered Canadian backpacker buried in the woods, three high school students trace the crime back to a suspected killer. Taking full advantage of their situation, they attempt to blackmail their suspect into killing again. Their scheme lures them into a violent and sadistic world.
