This year accomplished Australian actor William McInnes won an AFI Award in the Best Actor category for the feature film ‘Unfinished Sky’ and is now set to make his New Zealand stage debut in the international production of My Fair Lady.
McInnes is well known on Australian TV for his roles in such series as The Informant, Blue Heelers, SeaChange and A Country Practice, he will play the world’s most-loved curmudgeonly Professor Henry Higgins.
Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s musical, My Fair Lady, is an adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion.
This spectacular production will play a strictly limited season at Auckland’s The Civic, THE EDGE® from March 25, 2009.
